Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama admitted that cow donation given is in accordance with demand. It is conducted in the framework of the implementation of the Eid ul-Adha 1437 Hijri.

"If people not request, we won't give it. The donation is surely welcome, we also have the receipt," said Basuki, at City Hall, Tuesday (9/13).

According to him, cow that sent is also slaughtered and distributed to local residents. His party sent cow to locals in accordance with request that was sent before. "They request for cow to be slaughtered near the tomb shrine," he expressed.

Similar thing also happened when the city administration wanted to arrange Pasar Ikan. But, after knowing it brings positive thing, most residents sent a request letter for sheet pile installation.

"That's why it always makes a pattern like that. The letter signature for sheet pile is made by them. There is a letter, sent to us," he told.

As known, during yesterday's Eid, Basuki donated 55 cows for the flat occupants.
